God is good...always! He (practically) gave our group of seven people an entire river to ourselves. As I was getting ready this morning a disturbing thought occurred to me. Am I going to take my boys to a river infested with immodestly dressed women? I certainly do not want to set my children in situations that would cause them to struggle. I felt like it was too late to back out. We had already made plans and the kids were looking forward to it. So, I said a prayer and dismissed the fear. To make a long story short, the entire trip down the river we encountered seven other people. A family of four, two men in a canoe, and one old guy in a kayak. Roger, the girls, and myself chose the tubes, while the boys insisted on a canoe. I had a wonderful time watching the boys "learn" how to maneuver a canoe. It's been a long time since I've laughed so hard. Thank you Lord for such a wonderful day!

Memories...

These hand-prints are from Mrs.Bauer's Sunday school class. She taught at Calvary Chapel for many years. She was and still is a woman who loves the Lord. We thank God for people such as Mrs. Bauer who give of themselves for Jesus sake. Thank you Mrs.Bauer for giving to the Lord.
